I had a chance to watch the video of the 4/18 agenda meeting. I hadn’t watched it before the 4/25 business meeting. At the 4/25 meeting, I commented about my displeasure with the “prior” board getting us into a lawsuit with the Tech School by stopping payment on its share of Tech School costs. After seeing the 4/18 meeting, there's even more reason to be peeved.
From about 1:36 to 18:12 of the 4/18 agenda meeting, Tech School Admin. Director Dr. Leon Poeske and Business Administrator Sharon Rendeiro gave a presentation on the Tech School Funding Formula, and how a district’s share is calculated.
This sort of thing should have been done years ago, like say at any time between Dec. 2007 and Nov. 2011. The “Hellmann era”, if you will. You know, the era in which the Board amped up the rhetoric about Tech, and then stopped paying Tech, and got entangled in a lawsuit over non-payment of Tech that remains unresolved to this day.
Sorry guys, but the questions at the 4/18 meeting from board members who were on the board when we stopped paying Tech, one who represented MSD at Tech for years, showed a scary low level of understanding about how the Tech Funding Formula actually works, and how the Tech Articles of Agreement work.
Wanda Kartal, the newest enemy. The crime? Being caring, smart, organized, and capable. Having enough of a brain to recognize Mihok, Worob and Stout as divisive obstructionist political bully hacks who breed lies, ignorance and fear.
Not surprising. When things don't go their way they take their toys and go home to the self proclaimed King of Morrisville's primary residence to plot vengeance.
Jane would view their leaving early without explanation as a reason to declare their seats vacated and immediately appoint others to fill them as she tried to do years back at a council meating.

I am so glad (Thank GOD - ha!) those SOT jokers aren't on the board anymore. We still have to live with and pay for their bad decisions though.
Board Members Steve Worob and Ron Stout left the meeting while it was in progress. They left with formner Board Member Marlys Mihok.

rumor has it (fact) Worob and Stout walked out of the last board meeting at 9:30 only to be found later at Worobs house along with Mihok.
