The Morrisville community will have the chance to give its input and/or learn about the future of the school district Tuesday. The school district’s Education Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at the Morrisville High School LGI room.
The district’s future is up for discussion since officials are studying options to potentially save money and provide students more educational opportunities.
Last week, Superintendent Bill Ferrara told parents at his advisory meeting that the district is figuring out options to save the town’s public schools because maintaining the status quo or merging with another district aren’t options.
During that meeting, the top administrator threw out a couple of options such as the cyber school route and/or going to a five-period day may be options.
In addition, Ferrara said he has met with state officials twice in the past two years to discuss finances and potential changes to the district.
Most recently, Ferrara sat in a meeting in Harrisburg a few weeks ago, along with state Secretary of Education Ron Tomalis, members of the governor’s office, state Sens. Tommy Tomlinson, R-6, Chuck McIlhinney, R-10, John Galloway, D-140, and members of the Department of Labor and Industry. Also at the meeting were Bristol Borough School District officials.

Are you implying that the BCCT lacks basic grammar skills or editorial excellence?
Are you?
Perhaps this was just their way of trying to fit in with the plebes of the ville.
Could be worse, could be this:
An ABC News affiliate in Denver says that while attempting to report on the resignation of former CIA Director David Petraeus, the station mistakenly aired a photoshopped version of his mistress’ book with the raunchy title “All Up In My Snatch.”
KMGH-TV producer Deb Stanley told Raw Story that the wrong book cover had been “mistakenly picked up off the Internet” and aired during their 5 p.m. broadcast on Monday. Instead of displaying the actual book cover of Paula Broadwell’s Petraeus biography, “All In,” KMGH-TV aired the parody cover, “All Up In My Snatch.”
I was going for tongue in cheek, as opposed to ...
DOH!!!
Well at least something made me smile this morning.
I saw the list of options for the MSD in the BCCT this AM. I am not sanguine about most of these options and what they might mean for the future.
I saw the article in the hard copy BCCT this morning, but I didn't see it in the on-line version. Did anyone else see it on-line?
curious, Mr or Ms DOH!!! above were you at the meeting last night? did you think of attending? did you read the article which said the district is asking for input from the community and would take all ideas and suggestions into consideration. This is your chance to get off the blog and actually help make a difference in the future you talk about above. posting on here will not help but mr miller can be reached at dmiller@mv.org. i am sure the rest of the bloggers look forward to your real contributions to the solution and not the complaint
It was a "Dancing With The Stars: All Stars" elimination round last night. Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini were eliminated.

Don't deign to speak for anonymous "others", especially when you don't appear to be doing anything except pointing fingers, Mr. or Mrs. Helpful. You don't know.
There's another S.B. meeting tonite but X Factor LIVE is on Fox tonite 8 pm Eastern, 7 pm Central.
What should I do?
I wish that all of the naysayers in mville will put their biased wants and needs aside and think about our childrens future plz...it's crucial. they are the one's who will be handling the backlash of the decisions that are made in the present. In light of everything else they will be facing, in our society, the thought of them being in financial post traumatic stress, makes me quiver! Plz...,can we talk about reality, no-one can predict the future we can only use the past and present to deliberate a lead. All of these points were brought to light 4 yrs.ago by the past board. They were rejected forcefully by a loud certain few, don't hold these students captive to satisfy your egotistical quirk. We can debate over the crumbs and leftovers from the fed & state all day, the bottom line is..there is no money! Unless a Soros type decides to buy M'ville and save our day, we are on our own to figure & fight it out, Let's make fiscally proper decisions, keeping in mind, we are leaving behind those children we love so dearly!
Let's all love each other dig at some adversary we need more peace in this beautiful world potshot at someone I don't like occasional points of clarity wacky histrionics.
Sounds like a plan.
Peace, Love and Togetherness,... man.
