Morrisville will be the next community targeted for spraying as Bucks County continues its campaign against West Nile virus.
The county health department said it will spray areas of the borough shortly after dusk Wednesday. West Nile was first detected in borough mosquitoes during tests conducted on Aug. 7, records show. Tests results show infected mosquitoes in most parts of Bucks and 38 other counties around Pennsylvania.The targeted spray area includes the borough sewer plant and nearby streets including Philadelphia, Delaware, Avenue E, Riverview, Penn, Cleveland, Harrison, Coleman, Robertson, Avenue W, Wright, Hall, Anderson, Baker, Royal, Western, Columbus, Manor, Ohio, Brooks, Hill, Dieter, Jessie, Post Roads East and West, Ida, Lenora and Bowling Green, county officials said.
