Looks like the people have spoken, but I doubt certain loudmouths will listen.
Congratulations to all the winners. Now, let's get to work on fixing things. Please don't let us down.
Ledger out, Rivella in as Mayor
Dreisbach out, Corryn Kronnagel in in the 1st ward
Fred Kerner stays in 3rd ward
Vic Cicero stays in 4th ward
There's a chance the gridlock could break!!!
Out with Stout!
Ron be Gone!
Snore no more!
Dann the Mann!
A sincere thanks to all who came out and voted, and especially all who helped and supported Joe Gilleo, Dann Dingle, Ivan Colon, and me in the School Board election.
I know I've got an awful lot to learn, and I'm sure it's very different being on the board vs. sitting in the audience.
I'll do my best to serve the entire community well. Thanks again!

Let sanity ring!!
Simon Campbell lost? Dann Dingle won? Sweet. A little bit of my faith in humanity has been restored.
Jon, what's going to happen to the blog?
Good question. I'm thinking about what to do with it. Part of me wants to shed it, and part of me wants to keep it. What do you think I should do? If you can, please leave my family members, close friends and relatives, and body parts out of your suggestions.

Hope you keep it. It's a good way for people to get information out. We don't really have any other place to do that!
Keep it Jon. You manage to maintain a degree of civility here. Any new creation may not have the same high standards.
If this is civility, I'd hate to see incivility, but I know what you mean. It could be worse, and a lot of good information gets exchanged too. I'll play it by ear.
Obviously, as a board member, there is certain information I'll be restricted from providing.
Best to pass the baton, or whatever happens in here will be attributed to you. You and the others are now past the easy part, getting elected. The hard part is about to begin. Whatever any of you think it will be like, if you do it right, it will be much harder. If it was easy, everything would already be solved. Time to roll up your sleeves and get to work. I wish all of you the best. Keep fighting the good fight.
Bucks County reports 78 percent of voters absent from local elections

"All politics is local," quipped former U.S. House Speaker Tip O'Neil.
Clearly, he hadn't seen any of the election returns from Bucks County.
Just 22.13 percent of registered voters in Bucks voted in county races Tuesday, setting what could be a new record low for participation in November political contests, officials said on Wednesday.
That's down from an estimated 26 percent of voters who took part in the last local elections back in November 2011, county records show.
Unofficial returns from Tuesday showed between 92,000 and 95,000 ballots were cast in the contested races for county controller, prothonotary, recorder of deeds and sheriff.
Even fewer took part in last May’s primary, when a reported record low 9.8 percent turned out to vote.
Roughly 25,000 Republicans and 16,000 Democrats cast ballots for the primary races held in spring. And, the board of elections could point to no election with weaker voter participation.
The second-to-lowest turnout was 11.8 percent during a special election for a state Senate seat in September 2009.
By comparison, half of all registered voters in Bucks took part in the last Pennsylvania governor’s race, according to the board of elections.
During last year’s presidential race, turnout was 78.6 percent for Republicans and 73.5 percent among Democrats, according to the county. A total of 322,400 ballots were cast in that November presidential contest.
