County-wide PTO Meeting on Thursday, October 27, 7 PM @ William Tennett

STAND UP FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION

The Keystone State Education Coalition has been holding a series of community county-wide meetings to inform Pennsylvania residents & various community stakeholder groups of recent changes to policies & funding for public education proposed at the State level.

Centennial School District & the Board of School Directors will host a county-wide PTO meeting on Thursday, October 27, 7 PM, in the Auditorium at William Tennent High School. Home & School officers, PTO members, & parents from all Bucks County School Districts are invited to attend this informative event featuring a dialogue with members of the Pennsylvania House Education Committee, together with other legislators and officials. Committee Chair Paul Clymer will facilitate discussion with the Bucks County Community regarding how these proposed changes will affect students, parents, & taxpayers. Pennsylvania Auditor General Jack Wagner will be among the State officials in attendance.

WARMINSTER -- The state of education in Pennsylvania will be the subject of a joint meeting of countywide PTOs on Thursday evening at William Tennent High School.
The Centennial School District and the school board will host the session at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

Home and School officers, PTO members, and parents from all Bucks County school districts are invited to attend the event featuring a dialogue with members of the Pennsylvania House Education Committee, together with other legislators and officials.
Committee Chairman Paul Clymer, R-145, will facilitate the discussion regarding how proposed changes in policies and funding for public education will affect students, parents, and taxpayers.
The Keystone State Education Coalition has been holding a series of community meetings throughout Pennsylvania to better inform citizens of the proposed changes.
Pennsylvania Auditor General Jack Wagner will be among state officials in attendance.
