Potluck #48

Whoa - I haven't posted in 15 days!

School board meetings are running longer these days, and some board members don't like it.  Things take a little longer if people are actually thinking things over, asking questions, and deliberating, rather than rubber stamping.  Sorry if that's intruding on your free time, but it's the job you were elected to perform.

Saw some friends and had some great laughs last night at the comedy show fundraiser for the Winterfest Parade.   That was a blast!

What's on your minds?

I don't think meetings have been any longer than with the prior school board. What is Steve Worob talking about???

I can't answer for him. He's a delusional hypocrite. He wakes up every now and then with some rant that makes sense to him but not to anyone in touch with reality.

I haven't done a statistical analysis of meeting lengths. So, you're right, 2nd post, it's possible they're no longer than they were before. They're a lot less like Soviet Politburo meetings, but maybe they're no longer.

Allegedly Worob and Stout had medical issues that required them to leave April's Business Meeting early. I don't really buy that, but my advice to the entire Board is that if you leave a meeting early, for whatever reason, you should inform the Board President so an immediate announcement can be made about your departure.

Just cooperate people. Stop the bickering and do what Worob says

Steve, we eagerly await your instructions. We will follow them ... verbatim

Does Stout have Medicare?

Am I getting this correctly? I watched the council meeting last night and heard that Eric Hellman has been breaking the law (and his father before him - for years) and that when he was found out he used the borough solicitor at the taxpayers expense to try to continue to get away with his lawbreaking? Am I the only one who saw this?

This is just too good to be true.

I missed it. Can you please elaborate a bit?

This is unsurpising if its true. The rotten apple doesn't fall very far from the rotten tree.

I can get you those Hillyard99238's for 1,872.99 per + shipping and handling. Use 1 to clean the school buildings, the other to clean the stench of petty political conniving right the hell out of Morrisville!

Down with the professional hypocritical one-dimensional political pot stirring connivers. Most people, myself included, just want reasonable thinking people to make reasonable rational decisions about our schools, our streets, our streetlights, our police, our parks, our water, sewer, and trash services, etc.

Re: comment above.

This is a joke, and so was the vote for this item.

From what I've seen, the bathrooms in the Morrisville schools are disgusting. It's obvious that having working clean bathroom facilities is not a priority and has not been for a long time!
