As a Morrisville school board member and a candidate for re-election, I am asking our citizens to vote on May 17 for our Stay On Course candidates: Bill Hellmann, Al Radosti, Yvonne Ruthrauff, Steve Worob, Alina Marone and myself, Marlys Mihok.
I am proud to be part of the Morrisville school board and its secretary. As a unified board, we are committed to sound fiscal management and supporting the professional administrators, teachers and staff. As a board, we are committed to providing the best possible education for our students.

"Stay On Course" is more than a campaign slogan on signs or a billboard. It represents what we want the future to be. It represents a record of accomplishment on the part of our school board and what the board has done in spite of a very bad economy and cutbacks in state funding. It is important that we continue with the same level of sound management and fiscal responsibility that has been our guide over the past four years.
Like others on the school board, I have made a commitment to devote my time and energy to the business of the school district and the taxpayers of Morrisville. I am proud to be part of a board that has decreased school taxes two years in a row and did not raise taxes last year and will not raise taxes this year. This is a rare record in Bucks County.
We have made a promise to continue finding solutions to higher costs and decreased revenue and we promise to keep students and taxpayers included in our decision making. On May 17 - "Stay On Course."

Really??? we promise to keep students and taxpayers included in our decision making...

I'm sorry as a parent who is at many many meetings, I still do not see answers or inclusion in any decision making??? am I missing something? Are you???

do you want 4 more years of cover-ups
4 more years of hidden agendas, add-on decisions and votes without prior knowledge to the public?
Do you want 4 more years of people running a board and their supporters who threaten businesses, steal from your doorstep, only show you half truths re: test scores, and 4 more years of lowered state ranking when we dropped another 18 slots from last year?
Do you want 4 more years that include two empty buildings with no plans and no respect for parents, teachers or your children?
Have you taken a look at the front of mv.org lately...main item is the school board on front but kids keep being pushed down or do not make it on their at all, despite constant attempts to get them on the page.
Where do you see current board members actively involved in the schools activities, functions, cheering kids on on a regular basis? Hmm

Their Course has potholes the size of Kansas on it.

Folks your taxes are not going down this year without cuts to education programs and layoffs
Marlis is spinning a web of lies again. oh they will plug that 2 millon dollar hole in the budget because they over stated the amount of the short fall. Election year bs

People have asked me who I will be voting for in the upcoming election and my answer continues to be that I will not be voting for anyone running on the stay on course slate, including Alina Marone. I absolutely will not do anything that helps people like Mihok and no matter what the grand scheme is for Marone, she is helping Mihok by running with her. I know that Marone will win the seat no matter how many votes she does or does not receive. I do not believe in "win at any cost" so I have decided that she will not receive my vote.

Just sharing.

There's $3 million in the piggy bank, ready for draining if Stay on Coarse thinks they need it for re-election. They've already been planting the seeds for it.
Have you noticed that Stay on Coarse is good at spending money they didn't have to raise?

May 2008 Board Meeting.

Marlys Mihok:

“We are going to give you back the money that you spent for the school that didn’t get built."

Did she deliver on this promise? No.

She did deliver on helping to elect critical votes for the new school. The victory party was held at the Worob's house. Al Radosti ran on this ticket.

Stay on Course would prefer that you not know this.

Alina Marone is not a shoo in for her seat, she may win the Democrat and Republican ticket next tuesday, but she still needs to win in November. you never know who may run as a independent against her, I know of someone perfect for the Job.

Question for you: who are the "real" citizens of Morrisville? And what do you call the other citizens who live in Morrisville who aren't "real" citizens in your book?

Responsible leadership? Really? Is this what you call responsible leadership?

I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER BE RESPONSIBLE for any child because I am a school board member."
