Good news, courtesy of the Morrisville PTO! Thank you! Thank you! See below.
As many of you know by now, the proceeds for PTO Market Day Fall fundraiser will be going towards buying Playground Equipment for the Intermediate School. We would like to form a parent group to decide what will be needed.
If anyone is interested in being a part of the group, please come to the October 10th PTO meeting at 7pm in the Grandview Cafeteria. If you are unable to make it this night, please contact Laurie Ruffing.
We will also be reaching out to the community and local businesses as well to donate time and materials, if necessary.
Hope to see you at the next meeting.

Are you setup for monetary donations for this specific project?
Good question. I don't know. I suggest contacting the Morrisville PTO directly.

Unless you're prepared to also donate maintenance money, the school board will just rip it down.
Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
However, .....the arbitrariness of tearing down some recreation assets whilst possibly allowing the building of others, whilst waving around Policy 707 to get everybody off the school's lawn whilst simultaneously declaring it's not the school district's job to provide recreation is hard to fathom.
I know it's just hurting the kids, but whilst this school board shows disreguard for the maintenance of donated items, I will not contribute.
That's a shame. On Tuesday, November 8, show disregard for the desires of these school board members to continue to be school board members:
Bill Hellmann
Marlys Mihok
Al Radosti
Steve Worob
Yvonnne Ruthrauff
PLEASE vote for their opponents:
Wanda KARTAL
Ted PARKER
Damon MILLER
David STONEBURNER
They're much less likely to tear down playgrounds and basketball courts.
taking down those unsafe basbetball courts was the right decision. it was for the safety of the teachers and school staff. THANK GOD we have a school board that knows what todo. four more years!!!
Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. The Emperor has no clothes!
Ignore the TROLL!!!
Personally, I think everyone should listen to the "TROLL". Take it in. Take it all in. It's not hard - there's so precious little there.
See that they are hollow, empty, devoid of useful ideas or perspective, parroting the same bad bumper sticker junk over and over again. Know that it's very likely they're currently serving on the School Board, and running for re-election.
Think hard, and decide whether you really want 4 more years of that type of representation. Sorry (but not THAT sorry), I don't.
I'm sorry anonymous, but I deleted your post from today. I don't want to be the censorship police, but I think 2 things you used to describe the individual you were posting about crossed the line. If you take them out, I'll allow it. Also, I doubt many people are going back to read posts in a September 2011 thread. If you want your comments viewed more widely, I suggest you post them on a more recent thread. But please make your point without ... you know what.
that was the right move jon. that comment was uncalled for
