Zone in on the negative...what else is new...

That was negative too. Would you be willing to explain how that's the 'right' kind of negative? There's positive stuff on here too, but I guess you don't see it through your negative filter?

Sometimes when you endure lots of negative stuff that you've seen and heard and witnessed over a long period of time, your frustration gets the best of you, and you react to it, perhaps not in the best way possible, but with the good, human intention of wanting to see things improve, but, again, frustrated by the difficulty, setbacks, and pace. It happens to the best of us. Let's have a little forgiveness. We're a collection of individuals with different likes, dislikes, viewpoints, and methods who are way more on the same side than we realize sometimes.

"Focus on the negative."

God, I hate people who have only the limited brain connectivity to whine “you’re focusing on the negative!” These are the people who live in a self-created magical universe of unicorns and rainbows, where there’s never a discouraging word, and the skies are not cloudy all day.

Life has negatives. Life has conflicts. Life is about realizing this and developing the adult ability to cope with the negativity while still moving forward toward the ultimate goal. Only people who left their emotional and mental development back in seventh grade feel they can claim the luxury to retreat to this ridiculous state of mind.

This board has done some good. They lowered my taxes. They lowered your taxes too. I have to stop there and I challenge others to come up with something, ANYTHING else they have done that has been good.

1. They bully and harass. Opponents are threatened, legally and less legally too. Dissent is not allowed.
2. They operate in secrecy. The decisions are made before the gavel starts the public meetings.
3. They have no vision. To them, the future is measured by the date of the next tax bill.
4. They have questionable moral compasses. They whisper down the lane and cry foul when caught.
What they have done for decades has led Morrisville to ruin.

This is not negative. This is FACT.

Dealing with this negative is how the positive person responds. Remove these people from office before Morrisville slips into further ruin and destruction. Acknowledge the harm they have done. Deal with it. Retreating to some safe place that exists only in your mind is cowardly.

Drive down Hillcrest Ave. and take a look at the biggest monument to their carnival of blunders: M. R. Reiter. It’s so ironic that the educator who was honored for his service to Morrisville has now become a symbol of failure. Failure to maintain the building over decades just to save taxes led us to the boiler explosion and the shuttering of the building as a useless contaminated hulk.

You will never ever get a perfect elected official. You expect someone who take the time to find out right and wrong and evaluate each decision. Waiting to hear what the puppetmaster desires and mindlessly following orders is no way to go through life.

Elect some people who will represent all of Morrisville, taxpayer, AND student, young AND old; rich AND the not so rich.

Another Tech bus issue this morning...

Kids supposed to get picked up 6:30am. No Bus. No Info from home school till late.

Blast call from home school 7:42am saying "tech students sent home due to bus issue and would receive an excused absence". No explanation of what happend and no info saying whether there would be a return bus to take the kids home this afternoon who were lucky enough to get a ride.

Many kids had no ride, Bill Ferrara and Dave May went to MR Reiter to tell kids to go home, no bus.

Parents called school to talk to Transportation contact, instead we received call backs from Secretary (who unfortunately took the brunt of the nasty calls today). We did not hear till much later the driver for DVHS did not show up, they had no backup plan and Morrisville kids once again took the hit.

In meantime those kids who did not get ride now have an absense and are not eligible for perfect attendance (i called tech to see if this can be reversed, not fair to those kids again for the errors of the bus company. And yes, there are many kids at tech who have perfect attendance) Waiting to hear back. Also have to make up what they missed today and they were at the bus stop on time ready to go.

Just another typical day for Tech students since start of school.

Wonder if the bus will show up at the changed location tomorrow?
