Will it be a referendum by the people of Morrisville on their values? Will it be so close that the deep divisions gape even wider between the SOC and MM groups? Who knows? But in reply to the SOC Anonymous poster, therte is a fatal flaw in your post...Four MORE years of strong leadership? You must have one before you can have MORE. Don't equate arrogance with leadership.
The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint to keep from meddling with them while they do it. Theodore Roosevelt
So I am at the 1st ward polls and what do I hear? Ron Stout telling voters and their kids that Morrisville Matters used tax money to pay for all the signs around town. Now wasn't SOC who put their info in the school news letter and mailed it out using tax dollars? Give Ron a $1.00 so he can go to the store and buy a clue. MORRISVILLE MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ron Stout spewed anti-Semitic crap, and tag-team Todd Sanford spewed racist crap down at the Ward 1 polls. Not just a little bit. A lot. Sad excuses for elected officials.
Take this to a council meeting. If you heard Sanford talking like this call him out in front of the public during public comment at the next council meeting.
As for Stout, save it for the January school board meeting and do the same thing.
Don't think for a second that on election night both of these people weren't huttled in their little group at LaVilla's already plotting against you.
Should have called the Morrisville police about it so that a report would have been filed. I wonder if it can still be done or if its too late. I would think it could still be done.
Is it a crime, other than a crime of ignorance and intolerance?
I didn't personally witness it, but there were several witnesses. But like other similar allegations in Morrisville that I am quite sure really happened, it turns into a "he said, she said" thing and nothing ever comes of it.
I just wanted to note it here and encourage the perpetrators to kindly put corks in it in public on topics like this.
If there's plotting it's a shame. They should have been at the Superintendent Advisory meeting last night when Bill Ferrara spoke of the community needing to come together, especially now that the election's over and we still face enormous challenges.
I appreciated his message, but I mentioned that I thought there were some people not in the room who also need to hear the message, internalize it, and live it, because the politics in this town is so poisonously rotten, unpleasant, and a turn off for me and many many others.
None of of are 1%'ers. We're all 99%'ers. The size of the school budget pie is about the same no matter how you slice it. At this point, the battling would be over how you slice it and how you go about slicing it.
I think voter intimidation is illegal, but I'm not absolutely sure. I know that you have the right to file a complaint against someone if you feel you are being threatened. Anyway, anyone can file a complaint against someone else.

They're finally trimming those dangerous tree limbs that have dangled perilously over the Grandview Playground.

Great show, SOC.
You couldn't have taken care of this at any other time over the last 1 year since it was publicly brought to your attention?

"If there's plotting it's a shame." If? There is, there always is. I wish it weren't true as well Jon.
