I'm so disapppinted Rhonda Davis didn't carry the 3rd Ward Council vote. Dang! One bad spot to an otherwise pretty darn good evening.

I am disappointed as well about this. Inserting someone who has already proven she's a puppet and shown only contempt for the current borough council is just not a step in the right direction. Its a shame that enough people believed the lies whispered in their ears instead of what Mrs. Davis has already proven to them over and over again. If you have talked to Rhonda you know that she a quality person who has worked tirelessly to improve Morrisville. This is really such a shame. I am assuming Jane Burger will come after Fred Kerner using someone else as she did this time in two years when his seat is up. Over and over again, Morrisville is its own worst enemey. It really is a shame for all of us and the town itself that people are still willing to feed into Burger's power struggle. I simply am amazed that people aren't just fed up with it. If Rhonda (who has really proven herself in the past two years) cannot have the support of the people, Morrisville is doomed to continue to repeat itself.

RECOUNT !!!! DEMAND A RECOUNT !!!!
Seriously, she only lost by three votes ? Isn't a recount in order?

It just goes to show - every vote counts, or at least every 3 or 4 votes count.
I can easily think of 4 people in the Ward 3 who didn't vote and if they had probably would have voted for Rhonda.
It's not always apathy - one had to work late unexpectedly, one was ill and her husband didn't go to vote then either, .....

Oddfellows local 151 behind the firehouse
Where Peewee sits to prove a sage to teach
Peewee gathered up his proof
Reached up and scratched his head
Fell down and hit the ground again

Why do the heathens rage behind the firehouse
Where Peewee sits upon the wall to preach
This boy and girl that gather pearls
Of wisdom falling from his mouth
Wash off the blood, wash off the rum

Disappointed-

How right you are....
Scott "the Mayor", was seen working at the firehouse poll with Jane Burger.
Expect to see his name on the ballot next time.

Scott Robinson?

I think the county is taking care of the 3rd ward recount because Jane Burger was working inside the polling place. I have seen for myself that there is no line this woman won't cross so nothing would surprise me. Sadly, Rhonda could not get off from work that day and to top it off her car broke down once she finally got on her way. It concerns me that so many in the 3rd ward would rather see things go back to the way they were with Burger than to stand beside the quality person that is Rhonda Davis. She has given quite a bit to our community since moving here and its upsetting that she was not show the respect she deserves by some. I have sent her a card to thank her for her willingness to invest so much of herself in Morrisville and I would like others to do the same, simply to show her that she her giving so much of herself for our community does count.
